Getting Started
How do I create my first queue?
After signing up, go to your dashboard and click 'Create Queue'. Give it a name, set your operating hours, and configure your notification preferences. Your queue will be ready to accept customers immediately.
What's the difference between the plans?
Trial is free for 14 days with 1 queue and up to 500 customers/month. Standard ($29.90/month) gives you up to 2 queues with unlimited customers. Pro ($49.90/month) supports up to 10 queues for multiple locations. Check our pricing page for full details.
Can I try Qelaro before committing?
Yes! All new accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, you can upgrade to Standard or Pro based on your needs.
Queue Management
How do customers join my queue?
Customers can join by scanning your unique QR code, visiting your queue link directly, or you can add them manually from your dashboard. Each method captures their phone number for notifications.
Can I set capacity limits?
Yes. In your queue settings, you can set a maximum capacity. Once reached, new customers will see that the queue is full and can optionally be added to a waitlist.
How do I manage multiple locations?
Standard plan supports up to 2 queues, while Pro plan supports up to 10 queues. Create a separate queue for each location, each with its own QR code and settings. You can view all queues from a single dashboard.
What happens when I call the next customer?
When you click 'Call Next', the customer receives a notification that it's their turn. They have a configurable window (default 5 minutes) to arrive before being marked as a no-show.
QR Codes
How do I get my QR code?
Each queue has a unique QR code available in your dashboard. Click on the queue, then 'Get QR Code' to download it in various formats suitable for printing or digital display.
Can I customize my QR code?
Yes. You can add your logo to the center, change colors to match your brand, and adjust the size. The QR code will still scan correctly with these customizations.
What size should I print the QR code?
For countertop displays, we recommend at least 3x3 inches. For posters or signage, 6x6 inches or larger works best. Always test the printed code before deploying.
Notifications
How do notifications work?
Customers receive real-time notifications in their browser when their turn is approaching and when it's their turn. No app download required.
What if a customer doesn't have a phone?
You can add customers manually without a phone number. They'll appear in your queue, and you can call them by name or ticket number.
Can I customize notification messages?
Yes. You can customize the messages customers see when they join, when their turn approaches, and when they're called. Go to queue settings to personalize.
Billing & Plans
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Billing to upgrade. Your new features activate immediately, and we'll prorate the charge based on your billing cycle.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your billing settings. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment processor. We don't store your card details on our servers.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied. Contact support@qelaro.com to request a refund.
Account & Security
How do I reset my password?
Click 'Forgot password' on the login page and enter your email. You'll receive a link to create a new password. The link expires after 1 hour for security.
Can I add team members?
Pro plan users can invite team members to manage queues. Go to Settings > Team to send invitations. You can set different permission levels for each member.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Customer phone numbers are only used for notifications and are never shared or sold.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, including queues and customer history. This action cannot be undone.
